Prostate and Ovarian Cancer Awareness MonthProstate Cancer and Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month

In September we raise awareness for both Prostate and Ovarian cancers. 1 in 6 men will develop prostate cancer, and 1 in 72 women will develop ovarian cancer in the U.S in their lifetime. Survival rates are high when the cancer is caught early.  Urinary incontinence can be a side-effect of both cancers.

In the U.S., nearly 13,000 children under the age of 21 are diagnosed with cancer every year.  Childhood cancer is the second leading cause of death in children. Families and caregivers of children fighting the disease rely on resources and support from the community.
