American Heart Month was created to help educate people about their hearts and how to keep them healthy. Ostom-i Alert Wins Editor’s Choice Award for Best New Product
At the Fourth Annual UOAA National Conference in Jacksonville, Florida, a recently launched product called “Ostom-i Alert” won the 2013 Editor’s Choice Award. The Ostom-i Alert sensor is a discreet Bluetooth device that alerts patients to the fullness of their ostomy bags via a mobile app. The sensor also captures information about the volume and timing of output.
