Marketing Specialist   Location: Valencia, CA

Responsible for the development of all forms of marketing content, including – but not limited to – blog posts, website copy, video content, landing pages, mailers, trifolds, white papers, case studies, webinars, and other materials in support of marketing and sales objectives. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in Marketing, Communications, English, or Journalism, 1-3 years+ in marketing, strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Documentation Clerk   Location: Valencia, CA

The Documentation Clerk contacts medical professionals for documents required to service our customers.  Will also be responsible for a variety of administrative duties, including electronic maintenance of customer information, faxing, filing and document preparation.  Requires 1-2 years general clerical/customer service experience, computer knowledge and attention to detail.

Examiner   Location: Carrollton, TX

The primary function of this position is to review and analyze incoming orders for accuracy and completeness to ensure insurance guidelines are followed and payment will be received. The successful candidate will have the responsibility for reviewing all aspects of orders to ensure they meet all billing and quantity guidelines. Performs insurance verifications and runs eligibility, reviews and follows Carrier billing instructions. Verifies accounts are maintained correctly and required documents are on file prior to releasing order for billing.  Must be detail oriented, accurate and have good follow through skills with the ability to handle high volume workload with deadline pressures. Computer experience required, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Adjudication Clerk    Location: Valencia, CA

The primary function of this position is to research medical claim denials, and underpayments. The successful candidate will have the responsibility for making necessary corrections to meet billing guidelines. Will be accountable for problem identification and resolution of ongoing denials and underpayments. Will prepare and submit reviews and appeals to third party carriers and research and identify re-bills, write offs and refunds, as necessary. Must be detail oriented, thorough, accurate, and organized and have good follow through skills, with the ability to handle high volume with deadline pressures. Requires computer knowledge, good analytical skills and knowledge of carrier guidelines and billing requirements helpful. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Customer Service Representative   Location: Fresno, CA

Answers incoming calls/faxes, taking orders from physicians, referral sources and customers.  The successful candidate will have the responsibility to interview customers, record the data into the computer and place orders.  Will be responsible to resolve customer complaints, enter orders using AS400 and attends to walk in customers.  Will up sell and cross-sell to meet customer need and process authorizations and support documentation to ensure corporate compliance.  Must have 2+ years customer service experience, excellent verbal and written communication skills, PC knowledge and Windows experience preferred, type 35+ WPM.

Distribution Clerk   Location: Denver, CO

The primary function of this position is to pull, pack, check and ship customer orders. The successful candidate will have the responsibility for receiving products and mailroom responsibilities. The distribution clerk inspects orders for completion and ensures proper packaging and documentation. Conducts final audit prior to shipment and will process will calls, credit cards and back orders. Receives, inspects and stores all inbound returns. Requires one year distribution and forklift experience. Must have basic computer skills, good math and communication skills. A valid drivers’ license is required.

 

HR Generalist   Location: Carrollton, TX

Assists in all administration of the functions of the Human Resources Department.  Responsibility to assist in managing the recruiting process, to include recruiting, interviewing, screening, and referring candidates for job openings. Minimum requirements: college degree or equivalent work experience preferred, minimum of 2-3 years human resources experience , excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, extremely proficient in Microsoft Office, strong project management skills.

Contact Center Manager  Location: Carrollton, TX

Manages all personnel, operation, and activities involving telephone customer service support. Oversee development of departmental policies and procedures. Develop short and long term goals for Contact Center Department, ensure training and development of staff, manage and coordinates implementation of customer service systems, work with Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure that program goals and quality service are being achieved, conduct studies and submits recommendations for improving contact center operations, manage contact center departmental budget, oversee coordination of training for customer service agents on new products, provides post-event reports, analysis, and regular status reports on contact center operations. Including Flash Report and Business Plan, identify operational issues and duties that benefit sales and productivity, analyze “Month End Reports” for effectiveness in generating additional sales.  Calculate incentives to be paid to supervisors and Assistant, analyze daily, weekly, and monthly phone system reports, analyze Press-Ganey customer service reports, deliver performance reviews to staff and oversee preparation of performance reviews by the supervisors, interview, select, ensure orientation, training and when necessary discipline and/or discharge of personnel, a work with WFM Specialist to achieve acceptable schedule adherence. BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Management, or related discipline preferred; requires 4+ years management experience, preferably in a call center environment, 5+ years’ experience in a customer service/call center environment, strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

Reimbursement Manager   Location: Valencia, CA

The primary function of this position is to communicate policy changes to appropriate internal staff and monitor regulatory agency policy changes to include research and communicate findings to internal sources.   Responsible for communicating reimbursement related policy to internal sources.  Act as a resource to the organization for payer knowledge and support.  Miscellaneous projects as assigned by manager.  BS/BA degree preferred. Minimum of 2 years management experience required, strong financial analysis and project management skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, computer proficiency, excellent presentation skills, good detail orientation, capability to work both independently and collaboratively, and ability to travel as needed.

Territory Sales Representative   Location: Little Rock, AR

The primary function of this position is to ensure the highest level of customer service possible. The territory sales representative is responsible for maintaining and growing the profitability of assigned accounts, resolving questions and problems. Provides training and coordinates services. Must have 3 or more years’ recent experience in outside sales, preferably in the home health industry. Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, Bachelor’s degree and knowledge of Home Healthcare business including referral sources and reimbursement, preferred but not required.

Registered Dietitian   Location: Fresno, CA

The primary function of this position is to use clinical skills and background to support the Sales Office in achieving the objectives of the Enteral Nutrition Support Program.  The successful candidate will have the responsibility for working with the Corporate Registered Dietitian to achieve the overall company goals and objectives.  The RD provides clinical support to nutritional assessments of potential and current customers working in conjunction with Sales and Marketing teams to increase the number of tube fed patients on SHC service.  Performs sales support activities in specified region and assists Marketing in developing clinically sufficient Enteral product formularies.  Provides recommendations, develops, tests and implements nutrition education tools to be used in the field.  Will participate in Health Fairs and other community events to increase community knowledge of SHC Enteral Program and in regional professional organizations to support company marketing efforts and increase regional presence.  Must be a Registered Dietitian with current licensure.  Ability to develop professional relationships with customers, referral sources, vendors and company personnel and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Experience with pediatric patients is preferred.  Requires ability to travel.

Regional Sales Manager, Western Region   Location: California

Directs the activities of the sales organization, develops sales strategies for new business and retention of existing business within each region to maximize the company’s revenue and operating income objectives. Develops and provides semi-annual regional business plan to senior management.  Guides and directs Territory Representatives to develop and implement semi-annual business plans by sales location to meet sales and operating income goals.  Ensures sales operation team supports business plan objectives through validation of intake and customer maintenance processes.  Monitors and fulfills training needs of Sales Representatives.  Facilitates sales training programs in the field including boot camp and ride-alongs.  Develops sales tracking systems (competition, account activity, sales activity).  Analyzes sales trends, new business to annuity, product group sales, potential accounts.  Analyzes and structures sales territories to meet budgets.  Plans / conducts sales meetings.  Implements MC contracts in region.  Monitors competitive activities and develops competitive strategies to respond to these activities.  Monitors the usage of company equipment assigned to staff.  Identifies new programs for development by the Marketing Department.  Interviews, selects, ensures orientation, training, and when necessary disciplines and/or discharges departmental personnel.  Miscellaneous projects as assigned by manager.  Develop key accounts in region.

Director of Government Affairs   Location: Valencia, CA

Interprets and implements quality assurance standards to ensure regulatory compliance.  Responsible for representing Shield Healthcare to government and provider agencies, trade associations and lobbyists on both a local and national level, Medicare and Medicaid (Medi-Cal) policy interpretation and clarification, communication of policy changes to appropriate internal staff, ensures regulatory compliance through participation in internal and external audits, monitors regulatory agency policy changes and the organizational effects of such changes to include research and communication of findings to internal and external sources, management of all reimbursement related issues and policies/procedures, participate in focus groups which serve in an advisory capacity to various government agencies.  Requires 4 years third party billing/collection/policy experience in healthcare services , 2 years management experience, strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Medi-Cal,  strong financial analysis and project management skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, computer proficiency, college degree preferred.

Sr. Systems / Application Administrator   Location: Valencia, CA

Under the supervision of the IT Operations Manager, provides centralized application and software support for enterprise systems including installation, testing, evaluation, maintenance, and training of solutions.  Provides Tier III technical support and second level telecommunications support. Requires 4-5 years relevant experience, undergraduate degree in computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience, knowledge of computer applications (e.g. MS Exchange, MS Office, Visio, Epicor, Rapid Restore / AppAssureetc.), strong background in MS Windows server and workstation operating systems , working knowledge of network routers, switches, and hubs in an Ethernet-based infrastructure environment, working knowledge of telecom equipment such as voice switches, VOIP, and traditional on premise PBX systems, significant experience in developing written documentation, excellent organization skills, ability to host formal training sessions, seen ability to evaluate user requirements and provide support solutions, excellent written and verbal communication skills, very strong sense of urgency, and able to work on several simultaneous projects, ability to thrive in a very fast paced demanding environment.
