February 10-16 is Feeding Tube Awareness Week 2013!
This annual event was created by the Feeding Tube Awareness Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides support to parents of children who are tube-fed and helps to raise positive awareness of tube feeding as a life-saving medical intervention.
The theme for Feeding Tube Awareness Week 2013, “You’re Not Alone,” underscores the importance of connecting with other families of tube-fed children. Feeding Tube Week provides resources for and inspires parents to:
• Contact the media to have their stories heard
• Educate teachers and classmates about tube feeding during Feeding Tube Awareness Week
• Blog, email or post videos about day-to-day life with a tube-fed child

Just wanted to mention that Feeding Tube Awareness Week is for adults on tube feeding, too!
Lisa, I think you are absolutely right! Tube feeding awareness is for all ages! Although our current partnership and marketing efforts have been aimed at pediatrics this year, we will continue to support awareness and provide resources for people of all ages! Thank you for your feedback and your continued support.
