During the 2018 Annual WOCN (Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nurse) Conference, Shield Healthcare’s Ostomy Lifestyle Specialist, Laura Cox, and our OstomyLife Co-Moderator, Kelsey Scarborough were both on our OstomyLife panel (which you can read the transcript of here). While there, Laura took a break to conduct an interview with Kelsey Scarborough to discuss life before Kelsey’s diagnosis of ulcerative colitis, how things changed when she began to get sick and her struggles and successes after surgery.

If you’d like to learn more about Youth Rally and Kelsey’s experiences with it, you can read her article on Ostomy Connection here.
