  1. Hi SuzAnn, I wandered into this site looking for medicare benefits for my 92 yr. old mother who currently lives with us. We just discussed these issues yesterday. She’s worried about burdening us as she needs more and more care…and it is becoming harder for us to manage her dementia and severe arthritis. Is this seminar for the care giver, the recipient or for both?

Thank you for any information you can give us in regards to this.

    1. Hello Donna, Thank you for visiting the Shield HealthCare caregiver community. This workshop is primarily for the caregiver but we’re sure care recipients are also welcome. The contact person at the SCV Resource Center is SuzAnn and you may reach her directly at 661-255-1588, if you have additional questions about the event. Have a wonderful weekend and best to you in your caregiving needs for your mom.
