Shield HealthCare’s 13th Annual Caregiver Story Contest has officially ended. November 30th marked the final day of submissions for Shield HealthCare’s “What Makes Caregiving Rewarding?” Caregiver Story Contest, which recognizes the demanding roles and responsibilities of today’s caregivers. A special thank you to all the dedicated caregivers who shared their stories this year!
What’s next? Here are the key dates for the winner selection and notification process:
- December 2nd-13th: Contest Finalist and Winner Selection Process
- December 16th-20th: Winners will be notified by phone
- January 2014: Winner announcement and winning stories will be posted on ShieldHealthcare.com
Shield Healthcare’s Annual Caregiver Story Contest is designed to honor the challenging role of family caregivers and health care professionals. The story contest provides an encouraging forum for caregivers to share expressions of love and appreciation, and your stories are a beautiful reminder of the true meaning of caring. Last year’s grand prize winners included two mothers of special needs children and a daughter caring for her elderly mother with Alzheimer’s.

With so many inspirational caregiver stories received and just 8 winners chosen, Shield HealthCare would like to give YOU the opportunity to choose your favorite caregiver story in our upcoming 3rd annual Readers’ Choice Contest!
