Evidence-based practice in nursing involves the use of the most credible and up-to-date evidence to guide patient care. This practice is used to ensure patients are always receiving the best level of care possible. The focus-based program emphasizes the use of protocols and procedures that are based on research or the best evidence available, rather than rituals based on opinion.

In this course, you will learn the definition of evidence-based practice and how you can use it with nursing.
