  1. The person I care for wears an ostomy bag. He also is an amputee and can’t walk yet. He will need to go on a long airplane and is concerned that his bag will get too full and he can not get to the restroom on the plane. Do you have any suggestions?

    1. Hi Jean. Thank you for your question. That is a new one for us! I discussed this with our Ostomy Product Manager for a bit, and we talked about the idea of night drainage bags, and marshmallows, and the SOS Ostomy Traveler. But our Ostomy Product Manager though it would be best to ask our Facebook community for suggestions, so we did! We found they had a lot of the same suggestions we were thinking of, and more. We hope you find their suggestions helpful. Best of luck to the person you care for! -Aimee, Shield HealthCare
