Bladder Issues

After a spinal cord injury, there are a lot of issues that need to be addressed. One of the issues can be a disruption of the connection between the brain and the bladder. This is called neurogenic bladder and it can be difficult for a newly injured person to learn to handle it. Shield HealthCare’s Spinal Cord Injury Specialist, Aaron Baker, has written several articles that talk about managing catheters, urological issues that stem from spinal cord injuries and dealing with a neurogenic bladder. We hope you’ll find Aaron’s resources helpful!
