We’ll be discussing how identifying the incorrect etiology of a wound can delay healing, waste money or even get health care professionals in trouble. During this webinar, attendees will learn how to differentiate between pressure and other wounds including: moisture associated skin damage (MASD), diabetic foot ulcers, mucosal pressure ulcers, suspected deep tissue injury or bruise, friction, and split gluteal fold or skin tear.
Seminar Objectives
Upon conclusion participants will be able to:
- Identify factors and characteristics needed to determine the etiology of pressure ulcers
- List identifying factors of, diabetic ulcers, mucosal pressure ulcers, and moisture associated skin
damage.
